Arena Battles empower you to take the reins and command your heroes directly on the PvP battlefields. This dynamic shift allows for unprecedented control and tactical maneuvering, making each encounter a test of your strategic prowess. This Chain of Legends Arena guide walks you through everything you need to win in both Free and Monetized modes

Step into “Arena Battles”, the abyss of conflict, with the potential for loss and sacrifice. This new feature of the Chain of Legends offers many attractive options to enjoy a real game:

Battle Modes 

The Arena is a vibrant hub teeming with different battle modes, each offering a unique challenge and reward. At present, 2 battle modes are available: F2P Battle Mode and P2E Mode. 

F2P Battle Mode is the perfect starting point for newcomers and a great way to test your skills. This mode is accessible to everyone and offer a chance to test everything before jumping into the game by investing which comes with possible occasional rewards. 

P2E Mode is a profitable mode for those seeking greater rewards and a more challenging test of their prowess, with awards starting from 5 times more than the previous mode’s prizes for every victory. In this mode, every competitor deploy their own Barracks, heroes and attached items (not exceeding the troop’s level) to claim victory in each battle.

Easy 3 stages to the F2P mode; “How to Play” Guide

Before discovering all options, check out your “Energy” supply (placed on the top right side). Every almost 5 hours, you gain 1 “Energy”, a requirement to enter the battlefield. The “Energy” supply will get full after 24 hours: 5/5, not exceeding 5 Energy in the Free mode unless you would like to buy some Energy packs, more than the Energy supply’s capacity!

By clicking on “Fight” button; 2 battle modes will appear: Friendly Match / Find Match

Invite your friends to a “Friendly Match”, a chance to test your skills and strategies in a safe and engaging environment. While there are no rewards, you’ll gain valuable experience and learn to react faster, preparing you for the challenges of the Arena. Share the created link through the appeared box, make sure to reload the link at the same time with your friend, ready your troops, and let the battle begin!  Journey forth to the preparation and “How to fight” stages in the following.

If you had enough of “Friendly Battles”, ask yourself if you have the strength to bear the weight of responsibility that a real battlefield demands now! Press the “Find Match” button powerfully (the next mode) and let the system find the best-suited opponent for you amongst all available ready players. Arena matchmaking system takes care of finding you a worthy opponent! Very soon the details of a competitor, the amount of required Energy, and the promised rewards will show up in a box:

If you are tapping “Accept”, await for the breathtaking stages of Arena adventures. Otherwise, click the cross sign to still stay in your safe zone! 

Stage 1: Pick Your Troops

You are given a wonderful chance to form a combination of your 10 favorite heroes with the maximum total worth of 100,000 CLEG and set the best strategic army combo as you believe. But, the maximum number of Heroes to choose from is 10! Follow the following steps to pass this stage:

a: Select one troop on the “Character Selection” box, and its level. Then click on the “Add” button: 

b: The chosen troop appears in the “Army” box; if you would like to change your decision, you are able to remove your selected troop by tapping on the cross sign: 

c: Continue the above steps until you finish setting up your desired army and stay aware of the total cost of your selected troops, to not exceed 100,000 CLEG shown in the following pic:

d: The “Save the army” option enables you to not spend your time on repeating setting a desired army combo every time:

e: By clicking on “history”, you are navigated to the “Army History” box, a chance to choose an army from your previous combinations or the saved ones. On the “Recent” tab, you can look into your past army formations and the time of their use. Press “Equip” if you want to use it in your current fight. Luckily you never lose your favorite strategy in army selections by “Saving” them:

f: Tap/click the “Ready” button to announce the ready status to your selected opponent whenever you finished choosing your preferred Heroes carefully. Thereafter the button will transform into a green color, and you will wait till the fight starts. Edits are not allowed in this status unless you press “Not Ready” for making some changes again!

g: A very significant point that each player must care that they have only 2 minutes to pass the stage; a countdown timer is placed on the top of the page. When the time is over, the battle is started automatically with the last selected formation of your army.   

Remember! You are going to face other players with different levels of intelligence and strategy. So, each combo may work against a few players and fail against the rest. 

Stage 2: Enter the Arena

This is where everything looks almost the same with major differences. In the Arena, you are the one who should take the wheel and navigate your team toward victory by strategizing and acting quickly!  

The following features of the battlefield may surprise you:

a: A quick glance at the topmost of the battlefield, next to your photo or avatar, will tell you who you are fighting with and the spent time from the start of the battle: 

b: At the left bottom, you can see the set of your army. By selecting one of them, the information of the marked hero including the name, the picture, the level, the health number, the abilities as well as its attached items appear in a table, next to the set of the army. You will also discover a troop’s functions you are going to use while fighting, which means “Move”, “Attack”, and “Heal”, in the table. 

c: The following icons on the mentioned table, show the amount and type of buffs your hero is enjoying on the placed spot. Buffs are any effect that increases the specific abilities of your hero by other heroes of your army:

d: By clicking on the “Plus” sign at the left top side, you can send trash talks and emojis to your opponent:

e: Each player should take into consideration that a stable internet connection with a low Ping helps you to avoid lags and late responses to your commands while fighting online. Pings from 100 to 200 would be the ideal rate! You can check the status of the internet connection and the ping number at the bottom right:

f: The highlighted spots are your side whether you are on the right side of the field or the left side:

g: There’s also a “Surrender” option at the down-right side of the page which you can use whenever you feel unable to continue fighting:

3. Stage 3: Battle & Win

As soon as the battle starts, you should act quickly and set your Heroes on the battlefield based on your strategy. Now the significant question comes to mind: How to fight?

a: Every 10 seconds you can place 1 Hero on your side of the battlefield. You can simply click on your Hero, then click on the spot that you considered for it:

b: A cooldown has been set for placing the heroes on the battlefield. After placing the first hero, there is a 10-second waiting time before you can situate the next one:

c: Once you place your troop on one of the spots of the battlefield, you are able to do your desired functions: Move and Attack (or Heal):

• How to move? You can move your Hero by clicking/tapping on it (marked with blue) and then clicking n a white-highlighted spot, where you want it to go. 
• How to attack? Attack any opponent’s hero within its range by only clicking/tapping on It. Enemies within range get highlighted with a red glow.

d: The cooldown has also been set for all the functions, which means whenever you use one of the functions, you have to wait 10 seconds to be able to use that function again. The cooldown of functions is shown with a moving circle around the Movement or Attack icon of each hero. 

e: Mage is the only Hero who has 3 actions, the third is “Healing”! To use this ability, you can click/tap on her and then click on the injured ally Hero to do the Healing:

f: By clicking/tapping on your hero, besides the other info of the selected hero, you will find out the amount and type of buffs he/she is enjoying where he/she is standing, as shown in the following pic:

You should take advantage of your time and Heros’ powers to deal with the beatings since the first Hero set up to ensure your victory.

The P2E mode; “How to Play” Guide:

Introduction

Do you own a Barracks with trained heroes? 

• If so, you are 1 step forwarder than the others! Only try to make sure about their strength and empower them with advantageous items.
• Not yet! There is nothing to be concerned about. Build up your Barracks, upgrade its level to enjoy higher stats reflecting in the troops, train your favorite heroes, and set up a strong army with your unique strategy in combination.

Preparation:

It is time to engage your own heroes equipped with privileged items in this adventurous journey. By clicking/tapping on the “Option” of each troop in your Barracks and selecting “Move to Arena Camp”, they can be easily transferred to the seats of live battles:

Repeat moving your strongest troops to Arena Camp till you ensure to own a bouncing army combo in the Camp. Meanwhile, take care of the Camp’s capacity limitation. Now let’s check your heroes are well-settled in Arena Camp: Tap the “Arena Battles” section, then click on “Camp”:

Welcome to a new home for your heroes! Stay with us to uncover the exciting possibilities that this section offers: 

1. Arena Camp’s levels are defined by the sum of the 10 most expensive heroes that exist in it at the current time: 

• 0K – 100K = level 0
• 100K – 300K = level 1
• 300K – 900k = level 2

1. Higher levels, more capacity for placing more heroes:

• Level 0 = 10 Capacity 
• Level 1 = 15 Capacity
• Level 2 = 20 Capacity 

1. The Camp’s levels differ in supplying the amount of daily “Energy”: 

• Level 0 = supplying 5 Energy daily
• Level 1 = supplying 15 Energy daily
• Level 2 = supplying 45 Energy daily

Hint: It is significantly considerable that if you would like to buy some Energy packs, the daily Energy supplier does not work till the amount of Energy decreases than the capacity whose size depends on the Arena Camp level. In other words, as an example, if you own a Camp with level 0, the daily energy charger does not increase your Energy supply till it reaches 4! 

1. Higher levels, higher rewards! On the other hand, the entry costs to the battlefield depend on what level of Arena Camp you have:

• Level 0 = 1 Energy cost to step on the battlefield
• Level 1 = 3 Energy cost to step on the battlefield
• Level 2 = 9 Energy cost to step on the battlefield

1. If you may change your mind about attaching or switching the items, strengthening each through upgrading their levels, or bringing them back to the Barracks, grab this opportunity here by tapping the button “Option”: 

1. The battlefield dominance lies within the walls of your Barracks! Unlocking their full potential by upgrading it will empower your heroes, transforming them into a formidable army. Enjoy higher Bonus stats of your heroes by higher levels of your Barracks:

1. The good news is that there is no healing feature for your heroes in their new home! Once they come back from the fight to Arena Camp, their wounds heal immediately; they are ready to be sent to the battle again, if you have enough Energy to spend for stepping on to the battle.

If you set your proper army in the Camp, go for beating your fierce opponents: Click/tap “Find Match”, let the system find the best-suited opponent for you amongst all available ready players. The matchmaking system takes care of finding an opponent with the same level as yours: 

⚠ The rest of the Preparation stages, Battlefield features, and Fight scene are all the same as mentioned above.

Joining a Guild

Joining a Guild is a great way to connect with other players, participate in collaborative attacks, and gain access to valuable guild features. Here’s how to do it:

1. Navigate to the Guilds Section: Click on “Adventure” and then select the “Guilds” tab.
2. Browse Public and Permit Guilds: You’ll see a list of available Guilds. Public Guilds allow anyone to join, while Permit Guilds require a request to be accepted.
3. Joining a Public Guild: Simply click on the name of a Public Guild to join it.
4. Joining a Permit Guild: Click on the name of a Permit Guild and then tap “Request to Join.” The Guild leader or an officer will review your request.
5. Exploring Your Guild: Once you’re in a Guild, you’ll see a list of members and their ranks. You can also view the Guild’s “Rate,” which represents the Guild’s combined attack power.

Creating a Guild

If you have a strategic mind and leadership aspirations, consider creating your own Guild! Here’s what you need to do:

1. Barracks Level Requirement: You’ll need to have your Barracks upgraded to level 8 before you can create a Guild.
2. Accessing Guild Creation: Go to the Guilds section and click on “Create Guild.”
3. Customizing Your Guild: Here’s where you get creative:
   • Name: Choose a catchy and memorable name for your Guild.
   • Description (Optional): Add a brief description of your Guild’s purpose or theme.
   • Theme: Select a visual theme that represents your Guild’s identity.
   • Avatar: Choose an avatar image that embodies your Guild’s spirit.
   • Language: Pick the primary language used by your Guild members.
   • Minimum Score: Set a minimum score requirement for players who want to join your Guild. This helps ensure a baseline level of participation.
4. Choosing Your Guild Type: Decide on how players can join your Guild:
   • Public: Anyone can join freely.
   • Permit: Players must request to join and be approved.
   • Invite Only: Only players invited by Guild members can join.
   • Commander Pass: Only high-ranking members can invite new players.
5. Inviting Members (Optional): If your Guild type allows it, you can start inviting players to join your Guild directly.

Treasure Islands Maps

Treasure Islands consists of 6 different levels with difficulties varied from 64 to 2048 and each one is twice hard as the previous one. The more dangerous the Island is, the fewer and bigger Treasury it has!

“Sardinia Merit” is the place to show your Merit to others! First steps to becoming a worthy fighter. First Island is filled with the smallest-sized Treasuries among them all with the weakest buccaneers existing in the Chain Of Legends universe. Yet, it’s not an easy job to defeat them.

Sardinia Merits has 32 Treasuries buried in different spots. Each Treasury has a few buccaneers to defend it against invaders. Sardinia Merits has 33344 CLEG, 33344 Stone, and 33344 Iron in total which is divided perfectly equally within each Treasury. That means each Treasury has 1042 CLEG, Stone, and Iron.

There’s a drop chance of Items and buccaneer heroes in case of victory!

• Treasure Island Difficulty 128

Bandit picaroons occupied “Corsica Summits” long ago as it suits the best to their skills and nature! It aids you with more treasuries and You’ll grow up to it soon if you are persistent enough.

16 Treasury Spots reside within Corsica Summits. More powerful pirates protect these treasuries. Are you able to overpower them?
Each Treasury has 2084 $CLEG, Stone, and Iron and a total number of 33344 resources of each kind.

Battles have such a power-draining intensity that only saints may endure! Send as many Heroes as you have. Every single force counts!

4 and no more! Sea Emperors only may defeat these savages lonely! 8333 of each resource in each Treasury can be tempting for rookies. “Raids” might be the answer to their temptation. The total number of 33332 is what this Island is worth daily.

Collecting its resources might also take time. So, strategize for defending your Treasury.

• Treasure Island Difficulty 1024

Last Heroes tried to pluck up the courage to find hidden treasure on this island, however, they failed.
“Menorca Thesaurus” is totally at a different league level for the presence of “Massacre Squads”.
These Bandits tasted blood, so conquering them needs excessive power. Shake Hands & Join Forces to avoid annihilation!

16667 $CLEG multiplied by 2 equals 33334! That’s the reward one can get for his/her endeavor.

Ancient Royal Mages have left their special items for those who retrieve them in Treasure Islands. Each one of these items can magnify the magical resistance of the Hero who carries it. Their purple color is distinguishable from a distance!

• ❤️ Life Items

Stick to Life harder with these Red Items! These items provide the essence of life which add extra health points to the Hero who puts them on. They reside within Treasury spots in Treasure Islands.

• ✨ Unique Items

Exquisite relics left by Heroes of the previous Era that could turn the result of a battle upside down. These unique items grant special attributes to the Hero who wields them.

Chain Of Legends has two kinds of adventure modes! The first adventure mode was Dungeons (PvE mode), released in December 2022. There was also a Beta Contest whitelist back then for that section and players tested their strategies and won precious NFT Heroes such as Dragons, Catapults, and Mages.

The other part of our adventure mode is “Treasure Islands” which is about to get released. But, we are in the Beta Contest stage right now! There are a few conditions for participants of the Beta Contest, though. They must get whitelisted first.

Treasure Islands is the newest version of Chain Of Legends that allows players to experience PvP battles, multiplayer battles, PvE battles, and Mining simultaneously! Players will be facing a huge update with lots of new things to experience. Hence, reading this article can be helpful. First, let’s learn about the game’s brand-new designs and unique sceneries!

PvP Tutorial:

This is how everything begins:

1. On the Home page, click on the “Adventure” button. 👆 Then, Click on the “Treasure Islands” Icon.

2. Once you see the Treasure Islands roll map, you can choose one of these Islands based on the strength of your army!

• Here on Islands, if you choose a certain Island and your army is not strong enough, you will receive a notification indicating this matter and it doesn’t allow you to go and face an absolute waste of time!

3. If you choose Treasure Island D 64, it leads you here to the page where you see more information about this Island and a schema of the Island’s Treasuries. By clicking on the “Rudder”, your army will go on the quest of finding a Treasury. It takes at least 6 hours for them to get to one of the Treasuries. If all of the Island Treasuries are already occupied, the searching time will increase!

4. Solo? Or Multiplayer?

To find a treasury, you can go on a “Solo” quest of finding it. In case you feel a bit weak or you need extra swords, create a public or private “Raid” and call out for help.

5. Once you seized the Treasury spot, the “Collecting” phase initiates! The Collecting time and speed depend on the sum of the base damages of your survived Heroes!

The equation is 1 damage = Collecting 1 (CLEG/Iron/ Stone)
Example: you have one Warrior who survived in a battle of Treasure Island D64 and his base damage is 1042. It means that he can collect 1042 resources per day and it takes 3 days for this warrior to completely collect all the resources (CLEG/Stone/Iron) of that Treasury spot.

6. While trying to collect the resources of the Treasury, you can go to the “Defend” mode and set another formation for your troops! Because, once you take a Treasury spot, you are at risk of getting invaded by other players!

7. By entering the Defend Mode, you’ll be able to build two X-Bows to help you defend the Treasury. These defensive structures have a very long range and you can build them using Stone & Iron!
You can also add troops to the battle formation and change their combination as you wish. Adding new troops will decrease the collecting time for you!

• Troops won’t get healed during the collecting phase
• Dead troops won’t return to the Barracks until the Collecting phase gets over or you get defeated while defending the Island.
• You can add a few Mages to help heal your injured troops while somebody is trying to invade your Treasury.
• The X-Bows are only meant to defend this Treasury for you. You can not use them afterward!

8. In case you noticed one of these “Tower” Icons, they are indicating Treasury points where other players have already found and occupied them. You can also choose to attack them instead of attacking Treasure Island Buccaneers.

9. By clicking one of these Tower icons, you’ll once again have the option to attack solo or go to a multiplayer battle by creating a Raid. Although, there’s another button that gives you an advantage, the “Scout” button. The scout button helps you identify which heroes are currently present in this Treasury spot and what levels they have. Of course, scouting has a little cost for you based on the difficulty of that island.

10. You may see one of these Helmet icons on each Treasure Island. This icon means that there’s a player who is looking for an ally to go to a Raid. You can observe his strategy and choose whether to participate in his Raid or not (In case the requested Hero is available in your Barracks.)

11. If your multiplayer Raid is successful and you win the battle, at the time of defending, participating players can add extra troops to enhance the Collecting speed and decide on the formation of their troops, but only the Leader can change other players’ formation and make the final decision about the formation of troops and whether they are necessary or not!

14. At the left Bar, you can see the rest of This Island’s rewards. 1042 CLEG/Stone/Iron and a Drop chance of capturing one of the buccaneers. The time below them is considered for the Go & Return! If the number of players who are seeking Treasuries exceeds 32, the time of finding a new one increases for the 33rd player. The increase in time depends on the number of players who request to find a Treasury spot and the number of existing Treasury spots in the chosen Treasure Island.

• As you improve your army and search for more difficult Islands, your rewards increase respectively! For example, if you go to the Treasure Islands D128, you’ll get the chance of obtaining level 2 NFT Items and higher-ranked Heroes along with double resources!

Her Attacks are magical. Therefore, the physical armor of enemies is not effective and it won’t block part of her attack damage unless there is a magical defense in the enemy team.

Sentimental to allies but stone-hearted to enemies! She is too fragile at the beginning. Make sure she is out of the enemy’s reach!

• If she dies, her magical buff will also get perished from the allies!

• Catapult

The next useful troop for the battle is the “Catapult,” raining stones upon the enemies’ heads. It launches stones toward enemy troops. Once it hits the enemy, there is a true impact on its surrounding spots. It means attacking 7 spots at the same time!

The catapult has the longest attack range among them all! It’s gonna be hard to reach out to it on the battlefield.

• Goblin

“Goblin”, is the 7th character to be introduced. The sinister creature that nests in Dungeons. Carrying the blood of his ancestors for stealing gold! (This is an ability that will get activated later on #PvP mode)

It’ll be your opponent in Dungeons! You have got only 2 ways to have a goblin in your army. The first way is to rely on your chances and go to battles at Dungeons and have a 10% chance of capturing a Goblin by winning the match. The second way is to buy these creatures in the marketplace of heroes!

• Make sure to have a free spot in your Barracks. Otherwise, you’ll lose the chance of returning the captured Goblin to your Barracks.

• Dragon

And finally, the eighth and last Hero to go is the ferocious “Dragon,” another resident of Dungeons who enslaves Goblins to protect his lair. It attacks the enemies with all of the might it got, throwing fireballs at them. The fire attacks also burn the surrounding spots of its target. It has “Area Of Effect” Damage and its attack damages are magical. If there isn’t a Mage in the other team, its attacks will completely hit the target.

The following data belongs to the Dragon at level (1) in the “Chain Of Legends” universe:

• HP 👉 500
• Armor 👉 200
• Damage 👉 100 (Magical AOE)
• Attack Range 👉 2
• Required XP for level 2 👉 100

• Drop Chance 👉 1% in case of winning

It’ll be your fearsome opponent in Dungeons with a difficulty of 8 or higher! You have got 2 ways to have a Dragon in your army. The first way is through battles in Dungeons and taking a 1% chance of taming a Dragon by winning the match. The second way is to buy these creatures in the marketplace of heroes!

• Make sure to have a free spot in your Barracks. Otherwise, you’ll lose the chance of returning the captured Dragon to your Barracks.

Merging NFT Heroes

There is a limitation for you for training an army. Based on the different levels of your Barracks, you can only have between 5 to 19 free spots to set your preferable formation. So, this limitation makes you to whether upgrade your barracks to a higher level or upgrade your hero by merging them together. Like-leveled heroes of the same species can be merged into each other to create a stronger hero.

• Heroes can also get upgraded by acquiring enough experience through battles. By winning a dungeon, they will get +10 XP each. But, if you lose, they’ll gain +5 XP from their battle.

Look at the design of the battlefield above! Huge intense battles will take place on this field, and the skulls and bones of dead bodies and creatures ramble up every day. A few players win the battles, and the rest of them may lose. You have to test different strategies and find out the best solution and strategy to win as many battles as you can. Because “ Time is GOLD” and if you lose a battle in dungeons, you’ll have to wait a few days for your squad of Heroes to recover from the injuries of the battle!

It will also give you access to some general information about the game and a few steps before this article. So, it is suggested to read the article above and get whitelisted to taste and touch the PvE Mode of the game closer to reality.

How to Play

Now, let’s head back to the details of playing the adventure mode, Dungeons!

In the beginning, after building Stone Mine and Iron Mine, you have to build your barracks to be able to go to the adventures; Dungeons & Treasure Islands. Right now, you are only able to go to the Dungeons, the PvE section of the game.

1. Collecting Resources

Collect the resources required for building Barracks. You’re gonna need 1000 CLEG, 1000 Stone, and 1000 Iron to build Barracks for yourself.

2. Paying the Building Cost

Now, you have all the required resources. Click on the Build button and pay the building cost. By paying this amount of resources, you will be able to train troops for marching to the Adventures.

3. Open Barracks

Right after the building time gets over, you can click on the “Open” button and get inside Barracks where you can train your Troops. There are two buttons on which you can train your first hero by clicking on them. These buttons are indicated by a Red rectangle. As you can see in the photo, your Barrack is at level 1 right now.

4. Training Troops

Train your first troop for your army which is a Warrior. At your current level, you can only Train Warriors. Archer and other troops will be available to train once you upgrade your Barracks to the next levels.

You can train a Warrior by paying 100 CLEG and 30 Iron. Normally, each training takes 30 minutes. You can only train one troop at a time at Barracks level 1.

The Warrior deals 50 Damage to enemies. He is a close combat troop and has 100 Armor.

5. Adventure Button

Your Barrack has 5 empty spots for training troops at level 1. Right after training enough troops based on your strategies, click on the “Adventure” Button on the down-right corner of the page marked by a Red circle! Train troops as much as you can and send them off to search for a dungeon, otherwise, they might get outnumbered and get defeated by enemies. Proceed cautiously!

6. Dungeons

Then, This window pops up! Here you have to choose whether you want to go to a Dungeon, or you want to go to the quest of a Treasure island. Currently, our Treasure Island section (PvP mode) is not available. So, you can only go for Dungeons right now. Tap or click on the Dungeon photo to go to the Dungeons page.

7. Dungeons Difficulty

Dungeons are sorted from top to down by the easiest to the hardest! The difficulty of Dungeons is defined by numbers. For example, the first Dungeon’s difficulty is number 1, and the second one’s difficulty is 2. It means that the second Dungeon is as twice hard as the first Dungeon.
The third Dungeon’s difficulty is 4. So, the difficulty of the third Dungeon is 4 times harder than the first Dungeon. The formula goes on until the 8th Dungeon which is 128 times harder than the first Dungeon.

Another column of this page and the sweetest part is the number of resources as rewards for each Dungeon. For winning a battle in Dungeon D1 (difficulty 1), you will receive 48 CLEG, 16 Stone, and 12 Iron as a reward.
Although, there is another interesting matter to the Dungeons, and that would be the chance to capture Goblins and Dragons for winning a battle! The chance to capture a Goblin level 1 in Dungeon D1 is 10% and the chance to win a Dragon is zero.

• It is worth it mentioning that the rewards of each Difficulty also get doubled as it gets harder and harder. It means that you will earn twice more resources by winning a D2 battle compared to a D1 Dungeon.
• The positive point of adventure rewards is that it’s a net profit! There is no repair and land cost like the game’s Mining section.
• Travel Time:
  Normally, it takes 1 day for your Army to find a Dungeon and it takes another day to return to your Barracks. But, there are a certain number of Dungeons per day. If the number of requests for a certain Dungeon exceeds the defined number, the duration of the travel gets extended based on the number of requests. For example, the travel time might get extended from 2 days to 3, 4, or even 6 days.

8. Battle Formation

Once you choose and click on a Dungeon, the battle formation Page appears for you. Here, You have to consider a strategy for your battle and set the troops on the battlefield based on your strategy. You can set your Heroes wherever you want on the bright side of the battlefield, but consider that your enemy might be a Dragon. It is a long Range attacker and it can reach out to your melee troops very easily based on his level.

• The enemy is the defender! The defenders always have the advantage of first move and attack.
• You can send off all of your troops or even a small squad of them to the quest of finding Dungeons.
• You can tap on each Hero and choose the priority of attacking based on your strategy. There are 3 types of priority: “ Closest, Lowest HP, and Highest Damage.”

After setting the suitable formation, click on the “Start Adventure” button and send them off on their quest.

9. Primary Ressults

As soon as your troops march toward Dungeons, this message pops up. It shows the primary results about the Arrival time and the Return time. Click on the “Return” button to get back to the “Adventure History” page.

10. Adventure History

Once your troops arrive at Dungeon D1, they face a severe battle engagement. Because you surpassed the borders of the enemy lair. Those vivid creatures never tolerate it and begin the battle by attacking one after another as the first team. Then, your troops must try their best to survive and defeat the enemy to obtain precious resources!

As you can see in the photo above, our first battle turned out to be a Victory! The resources gained from D1 are 53 CLEG, almost 18 Stone, and 13 Iron. Great, isn’t it?! You should know that the resources that you can win as a reward for victory reduce by 5% over time after each Cycle. So, make it count and earn as much as you can.

• There also was a small chance to capture one of these creatures, but I wasn’t lucky enough! ☺️ Make sure to leave an empty spot in your Barracks. Because if it is at full capacity, you may lose the chance of returning the captured creature to your barracks. Make room for them!
• After the victory, all of your troops will gain +10 experience from the battle. In case of losing the battle, they’ll only gain +5 experience!

11. Adventure History Shortcut

The Adventure History is also accessible on the main page right here before choosing the Adventure type. The shortcut link sends you directly to the Adventure History page.

There is but one problem that you will face in your Barracks, and that would be the lack of free space. If you like to have a larger and stronger army, there are only two options possible for you to do:
12. (1) Merging Heroes

The limited Barracks space leaves you no option other than merging heroes together. But, how does it really work?! What are the consequences?!

Merging Heroes allows you to free up space for training new troops or for having a free spot to have a chance to capture enemy troops and to tame them for your own army. Another privilege of merging heroes is having a stronger troop instead of two troops.

Let’s suppose that you want to Merge these two indicated warriors together. You can click on either one of the Upgrade buttons and initiate the merging Process.

Right after clicking on the Upgrade button, this window pops up. Select the proper warrior to start the merging process. You should know that you can only merge heroes who are the same kind and have the same level of experience.

Consider that merging heroes is a deflationary system that is designed to prevent the inflation of CLEG in our Version 2.0, the #PvE section. The stats show that by merging these two (level one) warriors together you will have a level 2 Warrior with a base damage of 75 instead of 50, and a Health point of 300 instead of 200. The experience of the new warrior will be the average of those two earlier warriors. For instance, one of them has 20 experience, and the other one has 0 experience. The new warrior’s experience will be (20 + 0)/2 = 10.

• Generally, the estimated upgrade time to merge two heroes is 45 minutes!

After 45 minutes, your merged warrior gets ready for the battles. A Warrior level 2 with the experience of 10 is ready for marching toward new Dungeons.

12. (2) Upgrading Barracks

The second way to increase the capacity of your Barrack is by upgrading it to the upper levels. By clicking on the “Upgrade” button that exists under the photo of the Barracks, this window pops up. It shows that for upgrading your Barrack to level 2, you need to pay 1000 CLEG + 1000 Stone + 1000 Iron.

• Training a new Hero, the “Archer”, is one of the advantages of upgrading your Barracks to level 2.

Other advantages of upgrading are:

• Training Capacity: 5 + 2 = 7
• Daily Healing: 240Hp + 240 Hp = 480 Hp
• Bonus Stats: 0% → 5%
• Training Queue: 1 + 1 = 2

13. Instant Upgrade

You can pay 10% of the paid amount for upgrading your barracks instantly. Otherwise, you have to wait 24 hours until the upgrade time gets over.

14. Training Archer

As soon as the upgrade time runs out, you will be able to train Archer for your army. The cost of training an Archer is 100 CLEG + 20 Iron.
Archer is a long-range attacker with a range of 2 plots, has 40 Damage and 30 Armor. He can attack enemies from behind and help the battle toward winning. The combination of melee troops and long-range troops always works. So, Strategize & try to win!

15. Preparing Stronger Army

Train enough Heroes for going to harder Dungeons and aiming for bigger loots. As you can see in the photo above, we have trained a bunch of Warriors and Archers to send them off on a harder quest of finding a Dungeon D2.

16. Dungeon Difficulty 2

By clicking on the Adventure button and choosing Dungeons, we get to this page once again. Here, as we prepared ourselves for a harder battle, We’ll choose a Dungeon D2 which gives us more rewards (106 CLEG + 35 Stone + 27 Iron) and a chance of capturing a Goblin level 2.

Click on the “Select” button and march your troops toward a D2 battle. It takes 2 days to go and return. Again, this period might get longer if the number of requests for D2 gets too much.

17. Setting Battle Formation

Once again we set the formation of our army before sending them off. Don’t forget!! Strategy is very important in “Chain Of Legends.”
Set the formation that you have in mind and click on the “Start Adventure” button on the down-right side of the page. Then begin the quest of finding Dungeon D2.

18. Dungeon Battles

Now, the battle has just started! The hit of the battle gets higher. The Goblins started the fight by attacking our troops and we got hit by their first attacks. Now, it’s our turn to start attacking with the best we got!

The battle goes on and on until….

19. Battle Results

The results show that our army of heroes got defeated by the Goblins of Dungeon D2. We didn’t get any rewards from this battle, because we lost the match. Now, the army is returning to the Barracks and needs to rest a bit until they get healed enough for the next battle.

20. New Levels, New Troops

Keep on playing and keep up the excitement! Upgrade your Barracks for releasing and training new troops to make your army stronger! Merge them to create tough troops and free up some space for a few captive troops during the battles at Dungeons.

Almost 3 months have passed since the launch of the 1st version of the game, the mining section. The journey had lots of ups & downs. Now, we have reached the point that the whispers of the next game’s version, the #PvE mode (the Adventure mode) are getting heard. So, we should be prepared for what comes upon us by reading this article to the end.

The Stone Mine

🧨 The quarry of all types of Stone

The first step of Version 2.0 would be the release of the Stone Mine. For building a Stone Mine, you need to pay 400 CLEG and wait 12 hours for the construction time. Then, your Mine gets ready to extract 100 Stone per day from your lands.

Then, for upgrading and mining faster, you should upgrade it to level 2 by paying 400 CLEG + 400 Stone as an upgrade cost and a 24 hours construction time. That way you’ll produce 190 Stone per day.

Iron Mine

🏕 It is meant to be used in building Barracks, to fortify the armor of your Heroes (🛡), and forge them into weapons (⚔️)!

🏰 For building an Iron Mine, you need to pay (500 CLEG + 500 Stone) and wait 12 hours for the construction time. Then, your Mine gets ready to extract 100 Iron per day from your lands.
💰 So, save up your CLEG and wait for the Iron Mine to get ready to initiate Mining.

Then, for upgrading and mining Iron faster, you should upgrade it to level 2 by paying (500 CLEG + 500 Stone + 500 Iron) as an upgrade cost and a 24 hours construction time. That way you’ll produce 190 Iron per day.

Barracks

🏕 Barracks are meant to be used for training and healing troops!
🏰 For building a Barrack, you need to pay (1000 CLEG + 1000 Stone + 1000 Iron) and wait 12 hours for the construction time. Then, your Barrack gets ready to train your heroes. The barracks at level 1 have 5 spots capacity for your troops and can heal 240 HP per day for all of them (240 / 5 = 48 HP/Day for each troop).

Upgrading the barracks to level 2 will help you increase the capacity of your barracks from 5 spots to 7 spots and doubles your HP regeneration from 240 to 480 HP per day. You should pay (1000 CLEG + 1000 Stone + 1000 Iron) as an upgrade cost and a 24 hours construction time.

That way, you will also get an additional bonus of 10% for your Heroes’ Damage, Armor, Magic Resistance, and Healing Power.

The Adventure Mode

The following photo is the initial design of the “Adventure” Mode. By clicking on the Adventure button, you’ll be able to see a module on a new page. You must set the difficulty of the adventure based on your skills and your troops’ level. There will be eight difficulty modes. The second mode is twice hard as the first mode, and its rarity is half of the first mode. This formula works the same way on all of the modes.

• For instance, in the easiest mode (difficulty = X ), there are 640 dungeons to explore. But, in the second easy mode, the difficulty would be 2X, and there will be 320 dungeons to explore. And in the third mode, the difficulty would be 4X and 160 dungeons to explore and fight.

<mark>The adventure might last from 1 day to a few days, based on the number of players! So, try to be patient about it because the rewards will be very intriguing!🤩 You’ll be able to earn CLEG and the possibility to capture Goblins and Dragons and obtain battle NFTs</mark> (coming soon)!

• In order to capture a dragon or a goblin for your army, you need to have free spots in your barrack. Otherwise, the captured creature can not be owned.
• There is a feature to free up spots in your barracks, and that’s the combination of Heroes to make stronger Heroes!

Treasure Island

The concept of Treasure Island is meant to be published for PvP mode, which will be a thrilling part of the game because you will be playing against other players.
A few steps after that, to take over a very resourceful treasure island, you need to “Guild up” with a few friends and attack the pre-occupied island or defend the first found island from the invaders!

PvE Beta phase

As everyone expects, there will be an amusing beta phase for our Adventure mode and eager players can join the crowd by getting whitelisted. Lots of valuable prizes are considered for the players of the beta phase.

  Already a bunch of active players got the ticket to the beta phase of our PvE mode. But don’t worry! There is still time!
  We are going to throw a few contests and campaigns in the upcoming days and we will reward the whitelist spot to the winners and qualified COL players as a prize for their efforts and support!
